Signed, Sealed, Delivered! Bubonic Films Snaps up Cult Classic Spoof AURAT RAJ (1979)
Bubonic Fims snapped up Worldwide Rights to Rangeela’s madcap spoof-satire fantasy from 1979 which deserved a wider audience. We got hold of what is likely to be the last remaining 35mm film version of the film which is currently stashed away safely in London. The very last film version of Zinda Laash is also in safekeeping in London after being rescued from a dark pit of negligence. Zinda Laash survived, only just but so many other films have been lost forever which pains the soul and is unforgivable. Popular culture forms a rich part of our evolution and it has been treated like disposable garbage. Aurat Raj’s 35mm print was too beaten up and scratched to be used for even a DVD release but the film is available with English Subtitles in the best version that exists today.
