The Hot Spot on The Voice of America

The Hot Spot is interviewed during the scorching Summer of ’96.  They ask us what ice creams are most popular and how people are trying to beat the heat.  The little chat is relayed on their World Bulletin.  

It was a different world in 1996.  The Internet was about to shake things up, as were political events which were to snatch away the innocence of millions around the world.
